Be aggressive, be be aggressive. Any one else remember this cheer from your days as a high school student at a basketball game??

In all seriousness, I have slowly started to become annoyed with how people use Facebook. Yes some people post awkward ultra-sound pictures of the babies they are expecting [which is just gross], other people use it to tell the entire Facebook world how great they think they are by "how great their life is" or " I just ate at (insert the most expensive restaurant in your town here)", while others use it for ignorant political soap boxes, and others use it for my MOST hated pet peeve. Passive Aggressive Confrontation.

I CANNOT stand real life passive aggressive confrontation, but much less Facebook passive aggressiveness. If you are upset with something or someone, than be an adult and tell them, instead of hiding behind the screen of your computer like an idiot.  If you have the courage to blast something to your facebook friends [who 2/3rds probably do not really like you anyways] then have the same courage to be an adult. Otherwise the person who is the target of such passive aggressiveness comes out - Duh. Winning.

Is the blog post passive aggressive confrontation? Perhaps, but its my blog I just really do not care.

Who knew that a spending a Saturday afternoon studying  for exams at school would lead a bunch of law students into the stairwell to take cover? Nonethelss we were very lucky!

Good things really can happen in Law School

     I am beyond excited to celebrate two wonderful people, Jeff and Kathryn, tonight at their engagement party. Its pretty cool  that I saw these two people meet on the very first day of law school and now they are getting hitched. Congratulations to you both!

You are probably asking, "Who in the heck is this guy??" Well he was Jack Fulk, the co-founder of Bojangles in 1978, who passed away earlier this week. I would like to say thank you for your delicious

Intelligence

Most people know I that I really like watching true-life crime shows. In particular I used to fall alseep every night to Forensic Files, which Tru-Tv has now replaced with redneck, back-woods, people who have track problems [that being they are from the wrong side of the track], front tooth missing tow truck driving & Worlds Dumbest Criminal reality shows. Its disgusting. The following individual would be a perfect fit for that.

I am not sure even how to respond to this. I mean I hear you homeslice, I wish I could say that after law school that "making money is my thang," but I do not actually see that happening with my student loans. However, I am not sure how to respond to the fact that you committed a home-invasion while wearing a t-shirt with your fact on it. Nonetheless, it looks like this very intelligent individual where sitting in a prison cell, eating bologna sandwiches will now be his thang.

procrastinators anonymous please

I am supposed to be writing a very very very long paper for a class that I was required to take. Please note the emphasis on the required part. In no shape or form do I ever plan in my legal, and perhaps, non-legal career to write anything close to what I am being forced to endure. With that said my procrastination levels have been sky-rocketing like gas prices and I have found my self doing the following....


1. Online Shopping  [this is a given] but here is my favorite website right now and not just because I know the awesome girls that own it, but it has the cutest clothes and for the best prices. Run do not walk to visit this site!

[It is pretty amazing that they find pictures of celebrities or other expensive clothes, and a find Casey Budget Friendly version. I like to pretend that writing for this blog must be like playing Where's Waldo.

3. Watching Wral.com's live stream of State of NC v. Brad Cooper murder case.

No friends this is NOT this hottie.

But rather this very UN-hottie seen here.

Everyone knows I love real life crime shows, and this does not get any better. In a nutshell he is accused of strangling his wife to death and then dumping her body in a home-building construction site near their house in Cary NC, aka Pleasantville USA. There is much much more I could go into but then I would just be procrastinating writing this paper more.

4. Day dreaming about a tropical vacation.

As much as I have a strong dislike for the city of Durham, and for obvious reasons, I hope for the sake of Durhamanites, North Carolinians, and heck, Americans, this women goes to prison.

Are you all wondering who this beauty is? Well meet Crystal Mangum. She is the up-standing individual who was the mysterious exotic dancer behind the Duke Lacrosse Case. Clearly what she accused those 3 guys of, is a very very serious crime, and someone that it actually happens to should have their case taken very seriously. As most of the USA knows, the Attorney General's office of North Carolina later took this case over from a certain DA's office and conducted their own investigation and found there was no evidence behind her accusations. 

Last year SHE was arrested for attempting to kill her boyfriend by setting his clothes on fire in her bath tub. Yes that really happened. She took her case to trial which ended in a mistrial. [for my non-legal readers, all 12 jurors did not think she really committed such an act so they did not come to a unanimous verdict]. I guess you can say that justice was in fact working. Any way to save the tax payers of Durham and NC some $ in having to re-try her, because let's face it, there was no way in heck people on the jury did NOT who she was. She is practically a celebrity up in the Dirty D. So from there she has once again been out there.

Well low and behold, who winds up on the front page of the N & O today. Yes Miss America right there. What is she charged with doing this time?? Stabbing her boyfran in the gut. True life.
